Adirondacks

Camping was amazing!!! the Adirondacks are truly an amazing place. attended the opening bonfire the first night there, which was interesting... i guess they tell new campers about the activities there are by performing little skits.. (we were camping at my bro's boyscout camp for a week. he's one of the staff there.) then the next morning went fishing at around 6:30-10:00 with rea, then hiked along the trails (also with rea) found an XL coat with a little change and a flashlight in the pockets. hopefully the coat will sell for a bunch. also caught what must have been the worlds smallest frog, had a picnic lunch under a "POSTED" sign, and found a creepy cottage with a double bladed axe leaning against the door, and a "Notis" sign on the door saying something about either trespassers will be accused of murder, or will be murdered. we didn't stick around to find out. then the next day we spent watching jon teach his classes, or "merit badges", and then ate, fished, swam, and had a fire, the next day we hung out at camp for the morning, then hiked Graves mountain with everybody in the afternoon (EPIC!!!), got caught in the rain on the way back (it poured all night, but cleared up the next morning). the next morning me and rea climbed to Low's ridge, which was also epic, but it had ruin like things at the bottom which made it even more epic. then that afternoon jon and rea took a walk alone, and because they're dating (and are quite obvious about it) the scout leaders got upset that they were alone for so long, so rea had to go home early. (but she didn't miss much). on friday we went to the wedding rehearsal for a friends wedding they were photographing the next day, and on saturday (during the wedding) we kayaked on a lake, climbed "Bear mountain", which was kind of a lame mountain, bushwhacked our way back, then had some fun purposefully flipping the kayak. then it was a long ride back home after a week of lakes and mountains.
